In the USA the switch to turn on and off the headlight/ parking
lights is un-used, I use it to control the heated grips. Works great
and no cutting into the fairing! Costs about $100.00 with shipping
from Jack Lilley in the UK.

This goes ditto for me. It's a little pricey, but far *cleaner* looking and
just a thumb-length away. What Erik doesn't mention however, is that you
must also custom wire the headlight switch into the heated grips--no just
plugging it in. I failed at figuring out how to do it, so my shop charged me
another $165 bucks to do it for me.
Oh dear...I've happily been in denial about how much I'm spending on this
damn bike and here I just forced myself to acknowledge I spent $265.00 on
some stupid little switch...sheez!
Good thing I'm not married yet.
