Lower pressures are going to increase the rate of tire wear. You'll want
to make sure you raise them to at least the standard recommended values
(38/42) if you're carrying a lot of luggage or a pillion.

FWIW, I'm running the Pilots, too, but I've RaceTech'd my front forks.
I'm running 38/42 and am very happy with the performance.
