[ST] Idle RPM

Howdy,
Just went for my first ride on MY new, used '00 ST.
YAAAAAHOOOOOO :-) 125 mi. of sheer bliss. It is everything I had hoped
for.
Thanks to all for your insight on ST's. I was leery at first but it
really turned out to be a great decision. It feels great to be back on a
street bike after a 15 year ( kids ) break.
Two questions for you all-
What should hot idle RPM be, mine is about 1100rpm, seems a little high.
No adjustment?
Does anyone know a dealer who sells extended warranty? I called Moto
Italiano in San Mateo CA., they said they have never sold one? My
factory 2 years are up in Sept. After hearing the stalling, dead gauge
story I think I may want a extendo.
Thanks
Robert ( Newbie )
