Keith.. I have a thought on the moisture problem. If
anyone has tried this feel free to correct me as I
have not. The first thing I would do besides protect
w/oil as befor mentioned by another post. I would try
a significant amount of silica jell, its that crap
that comes packaged in new TV's and VCR's and the
such. the little packet that says DO NOT EAT (hehee)
its to keep the moisture away from the product during
shipping and storage. Silica jell (spell check)is I
believe available in great quantities from hobby and
craft stores and not to expensive. I would try to
place some in flat cookie sheets on the floor. I have
heard of this used for storing auto engines over long
periods..if it could keep the air dry while the bike
sits over time it might help. just a thought. good
luck!!!
