[ST] 1K oil change?

I am bumping up around 1K on the odometer on my new RS. I had the 500 mile
service done. I am curious if I should change the oil again at the 1K mark,
or should I go up to 1.5K? Triumph says I can go to 5K miles on this first
oil change, but I think I should change it now or at 1.5K miles.

Opinions?
