Re: [ST] Clutch / 1st gear

Clearly, this is a break-in issue. Please, give it time. If you were to look
at every new owners remarks, you will see the issue regarding stiffness in
the shifter and difficulty getting the transmission into neutral. I have
sixteen thousand miles on my bike and it shifts as smooth as silk. I have no
problem finding neutral, one technique that helps until the transmission is
fully broken in, is to ease off the throttle and let the bike roll in gear
without pushing or pulling on the driveline, then clutch in and shift to
neutral. If there is load on the transmission prior to the shift attempt to
neutral, it becomes almost impossible. Just put up with it for now, it will
fix it's self.]
