My mounting system is simple.  I use 3M "Dual-lock" and fasten it to the top 
of my tank bag, then plug it in to the Lighter Acc. I have installed on the 
inside of the faring, and use the ear phone jack on the unit with an earbud 
to hear it.  Works great.
