This is just a guess, but to do a decent version of the ST you'd need to 
put the sidecases and maybe the topbox on it, both details that would 
make it a bit more expensive to produce.  If you look at the Maisto line 
the only ones made with bags are the Harley's, and they cost about twice 
as much as the others.
