Neil,

I think the CO setting in the tool is just a number & has no relation to the actual CO percentage as measured by a gas analyser.
That setting would stay in effect until changed, eg: during a tune up.
I guess if you had the ability to change that setting, you could always adjust it & roadtest, but without a gas analyser you would never know the actual CO percentage. In fact even without adjusting that idle fuel setting, CO could change over time due to many factors eg: airfilter condition, mechanical wear, fuel system cleanliness & pressure, valve clearances etc.
I havent actually used the Triumph tool, but the above is how I understand it to work. Hope I am not leading you up the garden path.
