Re: [ST] long trip suggestions

first, do youself a favor and put michelin 90x or 100x macadam tires, the
best ever combination of mileage and grip bar none. trust me i did atlantic
to pacific and back on those and leaned till the pegs scraped on a YZF 1000
in 96, so you see.

if you do need to get a change of tire during your trip, stop somewhere you
will stay for two nights, buy a copy of cycle world or motorcyclist, flip
through the ads, select your choice of tires, find a dealer near the hotel,
go see him and tell him your thigh with money and need to get those specific
tires and ask if he will install them, he'll say yes, ask him if those tires
could be delivered at his shop, yes again. then call the ads and find one
that will send them overnight, use your card no., but specify that when they
call home to verify your card ownership, that you wont be there ( trust
me ), be very specific about that. then next morning go to the dealer and
voila. 1/2 price on tires, 2 for 1.

more on good roads later ciao 8^)
