Steve, there you are in NEW YAWK, and can find nice roads close enough to 
home to ride, to and fro.  While I live in the great "open" spaces of Texas, 
but from my home in Dallas it is at least 20 to 30 miles of urban sprawl 
(and homicidal cage drivers) B4 I can get to ANY decent roads!
