Re: [ST] Tunes, Take them with you!

Having a program that could upload the settings from a PC would be ideal.
Has anyone figured out how to do this yet? I saw a website with a tool to
adjust CO and display stats, but it doesn't upload new codes.
(The link is http://www.hutch.com.au/~wmcdonal/TuneBoy/TuneBoy.htm )

or, has anyone found a way to get ahold of a gameboy to tune the bike
yourself?

As another solution, one of my friends just got a Dynojet Powercommander
(see http://www.powercommander.com ) for his CBR 929 when he bought a new
set of pipes.

He brought it over yesterday and we used my laptop to upload the files onto
the Dynojet box. It hooks up between the bike's computer and the fuel system
to adjust timing and fuel/air ratio. It can infinitely adust the ratio
throughout the powerband, just like having your bike professionally tuned.

Anyhow, it was really easy to download mappings and intall the right
settings for his bike into the Dynojet module. I saw on their website that a
module for the ST is coming soon, and I emailed the company to get a release
date and info about compatiblilty with the RS.

When we get a tool like this, the dealer codes will be a thing of the past!!
