And another: was (Re: [ST] Another update on my rough running ST)

Thanks STeve, I wish that the news I got today confirmed that we were on the
right course.

The heads came off, the valves were not as bad as the leakdown indicated just
badly carboned. Everything was cleaned up and put back together and guess
what? NO DIFFERENCE. Because of the results of the leakdown test, the
throttle position sensor was not switched out leaving that as the very last
possibility for my mechanic. Although no one has mentioned replacing the
wiring harness yet. I suspect they might try that.

If I still get no answer tomorrow and no one has any more ideas I call Jerry
Parrish again. If I get no action from that venture I turn the whole thing
over to Consumer Legal Services and let them go to it. Someone needs to decide
just how much of a limited riding season I am going to miss.

At this point all of the time off I had saved away and weekend plans I've had
are history. Work and other engagements wipe out every weekend well into the
end of September. I just have to say...this sucks, and just when it stops
sucking....it blows!
