Re: [ST] stock muffler modification & handling

Louis, I tried what you want to do, and it won't work. The muffler is not
constructed as a straight through baffle with a block in the middle. You
won't accomplish anything by running a shell cutter into the muffler.
However, I did make a modification to the stock muffler that converts it to
a straight through pipe and looks stock. I think there shooed be an archived
message about it and some pictures. If not, contact me off line and I will
tell you how I did it. I don't want to bore the list with the details again.
Oh, by the way, I spent a total of thirty-six dollars making the
modifications.
