[ST] Bent rim!
- Subject: [ST] Bent rim!

Washing my bike tonight, I noticed that the
rear rim is bent about 1/2 centimeter (3/16")
in one place. The bend is smooth; no scratch
or pit. I also see a very slight flatness of the
wheel at the point of the bend.
I'm wondering what this is going to cost me
to fix. Can such bends be safely repaired?
(To me it looks repairable, but...) How much
is a new rear wheel?
BTW, riding home from work Friday I thought
I felt the slightest wobble from the rear. But I
figured it was just the tire starting to wear a
little. Next time, I'll stop and spin the wheels!
I should have known better.
