Re: [ST] Blue Flame

I am in the UK.

You can see their web site at http://www.blueflameperformance.com/
however it doesn't list the ST amongst it's exhausts but I can assure you it
is manufactured.
They are very helpful if you ring them.

I have telephoned Blue Flame for you and their distributor in the US is
B&B Extreme 001 405 5204078 Contact Name : Brett Web Site:
http://www.bbxtr.com/
There are pictures and prices on site. Blue flame says that shipping takes
about seven days.

Alternatively you could buy it from the company who supplied mine
https://www.needforspeed.co.uk/index.htm
you will find the prices under Blue Flame Exhaust : Daytona, and there you
will find the Sprint mentioned which is actually the ST. Under the "Order"
section their web site says they ship overseas. The web site is also
incorrect as the twin exit exhaust is Oval not round.

The weight saving on the Blue Flame is remarkable compared to the stock, I
weighed them both with all the brackets and fixings necessary and on my
bathroom scales it showed a 7.5 lb difference! This alone would make my
bike go quicker, of course if I lost some weight that would help as well.
As to noise levels mentioned on an earlier post, I was out with about 60
bikes the other night and boy are some of those bikes loud ! My can is
totally unobtrusive compared to them, but at least for once I could hear my
own engine note when following them as in the past I have had to rely on the
feel and tacho.
I asked about the internals and they say that there is no need to have them
replaced in future as the e-glass is bound at the core by stainless steel
wool which prevents gradual loss and the consequential reduction of
performance by the gradual loss of e-glass out of the exhaust.
There is a lifetime guarantee for parts and which fail as a result of faulty
manufacture or corrosion.

The overriding factor in my decision process was cost and the Blue flame is
nearly half that of the two brothers delivered in the UK.

Hope this helps in your decision

Phil

Phil,

Are you in the US? If so, what was the price and shipping to the US for the
Blue Flame products?

Does anyone know if they have a US distributor or if you have to go directly
through BlueFlame?
