Simple reason we didn't get better suspension is it would have cost 
MONEY. The new motor is simply a replacement for the current unit so 
it cost nothing for Triumph to put it in the ST, fact it prolly costs 
Triumph less now to produce an ST since all the bikes will have the 
same motor. Too bad Triumph hasn't figured out that the folks that 
have ST's and RS's like bikes that handle.. power is nice but not 
without control.
