SV: [ST] clutch cables

Hi,

Mine broke yesterday (2000 miles)... 
It has part no. 2040378 15KO

My delaer told me "Welcome to the club!". They also told me that this is a
warranty
thing and "just bring the cable here and U'll get a new one".

I could be wrong, but I don't think there was a problem with the clutch
cable on '99 ST's, but a bad batch sufaced on later models of both ST's and
RS's.  I also don't think anyone knows for sure what VIN numbers are
affected and there hasn't been a recall.  Has anyone heard anything
different?
