Hey Guys years ago I used to live in the Bay Area and rode everywhere. One
weekend I rode down highway 1 which was great but watch out for the tourist
traffic. My suggestion would be to ride101 as it is more interesting than
5.. The are many fun roads in the Santa Cruz mountains and Highway 9 and
Skyline should not be missed. I did a weekend riding from San Jose to Lake
Encinada near San Diego that was really memorable. It was on a Vespa 200 and
we rode 1150 miles in 4 days!
