RE: [ST] ST Hard luggade

The problem as I see it is:
Do you try to push down on the top box enough so the handle can be pushed
back in easily or do you push the handle hard enough to force it back in.
It doesn't seen possible the first way without destabilising the bike. I
didn't want to apply too much force the second way as I didn't want to break
anything.

All I could think was 'It should be easier than this'

Sorry to be a pain but obviously I would like to get the top box back on.

I would have thought that the box hooks over the front part of the rack, you
lower it on the back part of the rack and than slide the lock back into
place. Mine seems to be half a centimetre out. The first part of the
lock(the plastic outside bit) slides over but there is a metal bit under the
plastic bit that catches on the rack.

Any help is much appreciated.

The handle needs quite a bit of force to pull it out all the way, and then
it still requires a bit of force to push it down onto the rack.

I think that's why the plastic bumpers get screwed up after awhile.

I see no reason though why you would need to empty the trunk before
attaching it to the bike. I've loaded mine full of stuff with no problem.

Accept the fact you will need two keys, they are created from two different
blanks so there is no way to have them keyed the same. Something Triumph
should fix.
