[ST] Replaceing Coolant

Morning All,

A little while ago I put a question before you about replacement
coolant. I asked if anyone had use Evans NPG coolant in there bikes.
Rick from Oregon said that I should stay away from it, said it went bad
in one of the bikes he switched over. It is apparently too hard to get
all of the water out of the system. Rick being a top notch Triumph
mechanic did not have to tell me twice. So here is the Question. I have
2 gallons of Texaco Havoline extended life anti-freeze/coolant. It says
on the jug that it is Silicate and phosphate free and has a 5 year
150,000 mile protection. It also states that it has outstanding high
temperature aluminum protection. the following specifications are listed
on the jug, GM 6277M, ASTM-D3306, FORD ESE-M97B44-D, and Chrysler MS
9769. Has anyone used this in there Triumphs? If so did you have any
problems with it, and is it working to your satisfaction. Since I have 2
unopened gallon jug's it would be cost effective to use it, that is if
it works ok.

 Thanks ahead of time
 Paul Reyes
