Puncture repairs

This may influence your next choice of tyres.

Interesting nugget of info from this months "Ride" magazine for those who are prone to punctures (Barry ?).
"Bridgestone, Avon & Dunlop's guidelines state that technicians must repair their tyres according to British Standards regs. BS regs were changed in 1997 to preclude repairs to "V" and "Z" tyres. 
Michelin, Metzeler & Pirelli have issued their own guidelines which permit repairs to "V" and "Z" tyres".
