Barry,

I've about 6000 miles on my MEZ4's (front and rear).   I put them on in 
September and have mostly freeway miles on this set.  The front is like 
new and the rear has the start of a flat spot on it.  I'm liking the 
mileage so far, especially compared to the BT-57 rear (7000 miles) and 
the BT-56SS rear (5000 miles)  As far as handling, I have always 
preferred the Metzler's less triangulated profile.  I have an ST, but I 
think mileage is more an effect of riding style, tire pressures, etc. If 
you really liked the Pirelli's i don't think you would be disappointed 
here.  I have heard other listers voice their Pirelli preference.
