[ST] Tie-downs



Jim,
    This was a matter of discussion last summer. You might want to search
the archives for it. I recommend tying down with both wheels down. Your
centerstand is slippery on a truck bed and the compressed bike suspension
helps keep the tiedowns taut. Also run a bungee between the hooks (to keep
them from unhooking )and use the extensions sold for attachment to the
handlebars. Check your grips when you unload. If you run you bike in at an
angle it may help the tailgate situation. I always put it in
corner-to-corner if there is only one bike.
