Hello Eric,

You can replace the lid. I just replaced the left  lid and trunk lid, about 
$200 ea. as you said, on my Red 2000 ST. I don't have the invoice, so I 
can't get you the number right away, but if no one else gets you the 
number, I can do the research to find it. Let me know. I just finished the 
repairs - $1750, for a get off that happened this summer. Fortunately no 
one was seriously hurt. The biggest loss is that my long time passenger 
might not ride with me anymore. She is afraid.
