Rick,
     My bike has the same problem, but to a much lesser degree. It doesnt
stay at 2000 rpm, but if I give the throttle a blip it doesnt return to
idle as quickly as I would like & the rpm stays up a bit higher than it
originally was.
     I adjusted the throttle cable to give more freeplay & it didnt make
any difference. I dont know if I have the latest tune or not, but I have
the pipe & tune to suit.
