My dealer has told me to bring my RS in every 10000km or every other 12
months, whichever comes first.

5000km service intervals sounds like a Ducati! :-)

Hi There,

         My dealer said when I bought my ST that the service intervals would
be every 5000km or 3000 miles with a major at 20000km 12000 miles. To the
best of My knowledge the recommended interval is 10000k (6000 miles) or 12
months. Is there any worthwhile reason for these short service periods other
than the dealer making a few extra bucks? What interval does everyone else
get their bike serviced at?
