Re: Stolen bike

Hi Jack,

Your too kind, because I am totally blaming myself. :)
Unfortunately the bike was not secured in any way. :(
I was in the process of considering various security devices at the time.
I was quite interested in the disc lock with built in alarm, however the
Australian distributor had stopped bringing them in due to warranty issues.
I suppose I never really thought it would happen, otherwise I would have
made it more of a priority. Won't make that mistake again......

On this note I understand that Triumph make an alarm?? Has anyone used
this and have they been happy with it?

Regards
Rick

Rick, sorry to hear of your loss.
In no way am I blaming you when I ask this: Was the bike secured in any
way? Chain, U-bolt, disc lock, alarm? With so much discussion on the
list lately about these devices it makes me wonder how many are stolen
that have additional security measures.
Nothing's perfect if their professionals and they want it.
