Silver wheels

Hi all,
   I was wondering if the silver wheels on the 2001s were painted on
powder coated?  Not to complain about my fast blue bike but I had thought
when it needs tires, it might be nice to get the wheels painted or
coated.  I had thought of having them painted blue to match the bike but
I don't know how well I would like that.  I have seen color matched
wheels on yellow and red bikes and thought they looked great but I doubt
blue would have the same effect.

   Has anyone had any wheels powder coated?  I don't really think I would
spend the time to maintain a polished set of wheels and was looking more
for a durable easy to care for option.
