Re: F1 power outputs

Lots of rpm, lots of boost (50 psi racing, 70 psi qualifying ? ) & very
special fuel.
Wasnt it only 1.5 litres ?

Would make an interesting motor in a purpose-built drag car. The quarter
mile times I have seen for actual F1 cars have never been all that
impressive (considering the power to weight ratio) , I guess due to tall
gearing & tyres designed to go around corners instead of only in a straight
line.
