I understand your hesitation. However, when the mount arrived in the mail I
immediately tested its suction power--and was quite impressed. You simply
can't yank the thing off. It comes off easily if you pry at the base of the
suction cups...but it definitely would hold twenty pounds or more. I'm no
lightweight (190lbs), and I yanked on it pretty hard and it never budged. It
was just under $100 via mail, and if after testing it you still felt the
same...you could just send it back.

Just a suggestion.
