something to consider is the attachment method.  if a bar-end mirror
is intended to fit a "standard" hollow bar, then it may not mount
so well on a threaded clip-on.  this problem is probably solved somehow,
but thought i'd mention it.  i know it was a problem for some folks trying
to use bar-end mirrors on their VX800's -- on that bike the tubular
bars have welded-in threaded inserts for the bar-end weights.
