i forgot to mention one other thing that shows in the first picture.
with the throttle cable routed through the clamps, the metal adjustment
barrel rubs against the upper triple clamp.  i covered the adjuster with
a piece of split clear plastic tubing, and zip-tied it in place.  there's
probably a neater solution.
