when I read the original query from our 'new member' (sorry, don't recall
your name), I assumed he was referring to measured horsepower

I recall hearing about published test reports that suggest RS is a bit down
on horsepower  compared to the ST (or S3) and as measured by a dyno, in
spite of the fact that Triumph's spec sheets say they're the same

I may be wrong, but I think we also may have heard this from people who have
ridden both the ST and the RS and noticed the difference too

this may have been due to poor setup on certain bikes (bad CO setting?), but
I think this has been reported more than once

anyone care to elaborate?
