Rick,

Out of interest, for those of us in Oz, which insurance company are you
with?  For those not in Oz, there are only 3 or 4 insurance companies that
cover bikes in any sensible fashion - other companys will give you a quote,
but it'll be outrageous, cause they don't want your business.

Out of interest to those in Melbourne, I was sitting in the cafe in Peter
Stevens (local Triumph dealer) a while back, and overheard a conversation
between someone in Western QBE (insurance co.) and Peter Stevens guy
something along the lines of how profits in the repair business were reduced
by the consumer having too much choice, and wouldn't it be nice if the
choice of repairers was reduced....  It'd be good for Rick (get the panels,
pay the inflated price) but it'd surely mean insurance rates would
increase....
