Unless it's leaking fuel my ST has been bone dry and
free of any gasoline smell at all. Sounds like you
have a leak to me. pull off the side covers and take
alook at the right hand side of the fuel tank where
all the "stuff" is connected. Maybe you just have a
bad o-ring in a hose connection or something easy.
Check on the left hand side under the tank for the
fuel sender leak.
