Re: [ST] Tires

I have gone through two sets of MEZ4's. I traveled 5K on the rears both
times. Mixed highway and twisty roads, 50%/50%. I think they have more
performance than I or the bike. I am now running BT020's because I can get
them so cheap. I started with a BT010 on the front, but it wore out with
severe cupping, I loved the grip and feel. It leaned over with the best
predictability, as opposed to the MEZ4's, I didn't care for the feel when
leaning them over. Now I have the BT020 on the front and it feels a little
like the MEZ4's front, but not as bad
.
Bridgestone BT57: fronts and rear 7K, MEZ4 front 7K, rear 5K, BT010 front
4K, rear 2K so far with very little wear showing.

Of course, all this time, my riding is evolving, I started out pretty much a
straight up rider with very little experience, to now where I will
occasionally ride hard on a track (five or six laps, I work at a track) and
moderately hard on some mountain roads.
