Hi,

I know it's late in the thread, but here's another 2c. I put MeZ4's on
at the 6K service. They have performed flawlessly for the past 6K miles
and the only reason I am changing them now (for another set of Z4's) is
that it's much easier to get it done during scheduled services! I would
anticipate them living another 2~3K miles there is a lot of thread left.
I run 40psi rear and 36psi front.

I ride wet or dry, all four seasons, the only wet weather foible is on
rain washed painted lines, and I know of no tire for daily riding that
wouldn't give that wiggle. They stick in the dry really really well. I
have no problem toying with the Yamaha R1 & 6 folk when we play in
Vermont. I credit the Metzler's wet weather performance with seriously
saving my hide on the Kancamagus Highway's damn (approaching from west
going east) DR curve in the rain and oncoming traffic (rider skill
counts too!), but the tires stayed GLUED leaned over and braked to the
maximum in running water and pouring rain.

Of course YMMV and probably will .......but Metzler's will be going on
my bike again.

Peace,
Andrew

ps MeZ4 rear tires in our size are currently in "A" and "B" compounds.
The "B" supersedes and need to be specified otherwise you'll get old
stock. The difference as I understand is the "B" dual compound is longer
lasting. A good thing!
