The pannier oval decals are self stick, you just peel off the backing and
apply them. No glue, nothing. I edge trimmed mine, used some 80 grit
sandpaper to rough up the recessed oval on the pannier, applied just a
light coat of Loctite black RTV, stuck it on and put a weight on it while
it set up on the workbench.
I haven't lost another one yet.
