I wouldn't even bring up the repaint option to the insurance company. Why
complicate things? Fax/email a quote from your dealer (or have your dealer
do it) and leave it at that. An insurance company isn't going to spend money
contesting a couple of hundred dollars. Keep things simple for
yourself...you deserve it.

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this and have the insurance
cover it?  Should I get a couple of repaint quotes and then a quote for the
new Triumph piece and give that to the insurance company?
