I beileve the Futura is a sport-tourer, not tourer.  It is firmly aimed at
the Sprint, STx and VFR line of equipment.  And yes, I have considered it,
swapping the Sprint ST for the Futura.  I could not consider the Falco
because it doesn't have hard bags.  But then the local Aprilia dealer had
the franchise for about 2-3 months before they closed up shop.

Isn't the Futura more of a tourer, like the Trophy 900? I thought the Falco
was Aprilia's sport-tourer competitor to the Sprint ST/RS, Ducati STx, and
VFR. Granted the availability of hard luggage varies among these bikes, but
really, are there more folks who would trade their Sprint for a Futura than
a Falco?
