[ST] Oil Level?

When I complained to my "former" dealer about overfilling my  bike at a
change, he tipped it to one side (left) and air appeared in the sight
glass. I think you could do the same to the right and see how far you
level was down past the sight glass.  Also, the level will raise
slightly with hot oil.
    I agree with that that is an awful lot of oil to lose in 1100 miles.
I'd keep a close eye on it. The only time my bike used any oil at all
was the aforementioned overfill, and then it was driping out the airbox
drain from the pcv blowby.
