If it ever stopped raining long enough for the flood waters to recede
(no, I'm not kidding) so I could ride THEN it would be grand!
I did ride on Saturday and finally got to try the Triumph Chevron
rainsuit that SWMBO gave me for Christmas. Wonderful! I do need (again)
to practice getting into it so I'm not struggling for minutes, but it
sure does keep one dry. I also need waterproof boots and gloves, but
that's another story.
Don't you just love it when the dye in your gloves isn't waterproof and
your fingers turn that purple-black color? But if that color washes out
of the gloves why won't it wash off of your hands? Maybe it has an
affinity for human skin over cowhide?
