Are you all using an opener that is huge or what? Put the opener in the map
compartment of your tank bag, buttons up. You can easily push the correct
button through the plastic. If you don't have a tank bag, get one...you'll
not regret it.

I followed the advice of someone on the list last year (sorry... can't
remember
who's idea it was).  I bought a small garage door opener at Home Depot
(approx
2" x 1" x .5"), and mounted it to my ST with velcro under the right side
panel,
just below the right grip (you know... that flat spot of the panel just
right
of the gas tank).   It works great... it's easily accessible with one finger
(looks like you're squeezing the fairing between your right finger and
thumb).

I can take a picture of it if the description isn't good enough.
