I understand your anger, as I am sure I would be in the same position
if I wanted to seel my ST. But I've got to wonder if the ST in
particular, and possibly RS attract wanta-be first owners. Personally
I did not even think about getting a used one. For the simple fact
that I wanted to make sure that the bike was properly borken in
and maintaned from day one. Basically I plan to put 60,80, 100,000+
miles on it. And for a bike that will be a prime commute vehicle
and long distance ride, reliability is everything. In other words,
it was worth paying the extra money to be able to get new. Of course
if I found a BRG one for 6,000 I would have strongly considered
it.
But, if I get a TL, well it will probably be used, of course since
they have stopped production of the TLS, won't have much choice.
Anyway, I hope that you get a fiar price for your ST, and get a
bike that suits your riding style and needs.
