[ST] Re: Broken Clutch Cable

For what it's worth, I have a 1983 Honda CB 1100F that suffered a bad
fork seal at less than 500 miles, a broken clutch cable at somewhere around
1500 miles(End pulled off), a clutch that was shot at less than 6000 miles,
a horribly flexible frame and a bad starter at somewhere around 15000 miles.
I now have a '99 ST with 10,000 miles that has suffered no problems other
than the dreaded fuel guage sender (inaccurate, not leaky) and a throttle
position sensor that went out of adjustment, both cheerfully covered by my
dealer. While Honda's are most certainly reliable machines, all vehicles
will have a certain number of units that have some small problems and
niether Triumph nor Honda are flawless 100% of the time. Certainly niether
require the TLC that my Norton Commando has for the last 26 years! ;-)
