I own an ST but I have ridden a Trophy that is owned by a friend in
Illinois. If most of your riding is two-up you will probably find the
additional mass and enourmous torque of the 1200 to be a much better fit.
Ride one and see for yourself though. It is a much heavier and less sporty
beast but pleasant to ride and in my estimation bullet proof.
