The clutch cable on my RS broke on the way to work today. The bike has about 1200 miles on it.  I've sourced a replacement and will collect it at lunch time. I suspect a faulty batch.

I've contacted Venhill Engineering and arranged to drop my broken one to them so they can make up one of their Featherlight teflon lined cables. I haven't used them before but have heard excellent things about them. 

I'll check for the rough edge in the lever as well.
