Mobil 1 MX4T Motorcycle - I think it was in the $7.99 per quart range at
AutoZone. To get the same volume as Triumph sells (4L), you would need
4.228 quarts. Assuming that you could get .228 quarts of oil and that the
price per volume remained constant, you would still have to pay $ 33.78 for
the AutoZone offering. If you got all five quarts, you would be at $ 39.95.
At my dealer I get a discount on parts and accessories for being a repeat
customer, so my cost on the Triumph oil is only $35.00 - not worth the
$1.22 savings to fool with AutoZone. See if your dealer will give you a
break on the price of the oil - can't hurt to ask.
