[ST] Standard weight of rider & pillion?

What do Triumph use as the standard/average weight for rider and pillion
when recommending suspension settings (page 69 of owners manual)?
With our birthday suits on, I'm 82 kg (180 lb) and my partner just 55 kg
(120 lb).
I have found the recommended settings for 2 persons (5mm front, 1 and 6
turns rebound and pre-load respectively on the rear) a bit hard and wondered
if I should just use the settings recommended for 'firmer' solo riding (8mm,
1.25 and 8 )?
Thanks,
Barry Evans
